I am no valedictorian but that won’t stop me from making my speech to the world. Most people thank Google and Wikipedia but I decide to take the road less traveled and thank my lecturers. Not all of them, only those who would give us questions and when you copy-paste the first question on google, you get the same exact question paper. They made my work very easy and made me eager to get future assignments. YouTube, my love, if I was not learning a new programming language or the history of the internet I was listening to Florence and the machines as I tried to understand what grid computing is. When I needed the 1 hour breaks in between my 10 minute learning sessions you would provide me with Ellen videos or Vines. I would laugh my brain off and leave a 3 hour study session only having read a combined 20 minutes. The lord is watching over me and he knows me, so he knew that on that day I would do that and there is no need of showing the Lord who’s boss.

I would also like to thank my hostel’s proximity to the school. A ten minute walk and I would rest my head and unload all the useless things I might have learnt that day and replace them with new things like CAT topics. It is very crucial for you to pass your CATs and assignments. Here is also where I come in to thank the few students who were very generous with their assignments, don’t look at me like that!! We were helping each other out. You would find a question where they have done a very silly mistake and help them. Those who were not generous remember that we all graduated and it was not a worthwhile effort on your part.

For my group members thank you for bearing with me picking the easiest of questions and threatening to leave the group otherwise, you are the best. Shonda Rhimes, the goddess of creativity, I would like to thank the genius organ that you call a brain for Grey’s Anatomy. I used to throw around some medical terms for the heck of it in Health Informatics class and I would look like I knew what I was saying, continue with the good work. I also graduated with my liver and ankles in one piece as Friday nights were reserved for a marathon of your programs, How to get away with murder, Scandal and Grey’s Anatomy. Last but not least I would like to thank this beautiful brain of mine for actually trying and failing a million times to grasp the concept of SOAP and Pain, Suffering and Death. I never got a retake in any class and that is why you are the best brain in the whole wide world. For those who think I should have thanked them but haven’t, you can go ahead and thank yourselves. I was given the power to exploit the rights and privileges that come with this degree and now I am invoking them…or so I think. Stay in school, don’t do drugs. The following is a Video from Ellen that gives me so much joy. There’s more where that came from.
